New Art :-) A painting of Bunny Meyer

Hi everyone, 

For my second YouTuber Tuesday art video I decided to paint Bunny Meyer.

 I chose to paint Bunny because I really love her YouTube channel - she is so funny and has a very likeable and fun personality, her videos always cheer me up. 

I decided to create this artwork with watercolour paints - watercolours are quite a tricky medium to use but they can give such beautiful effects. I enjoyed working with them and especially creating the background of this painting. New Drawing - Brittany Balyn

Hi everyone!

I have some new art to show you :-)

I have decided to start a new series of portraits (5 in total for this series), these will be paintings & drawings of my favourite YouTubers.

I have called the series 'YouTuber Tuesday' as each week I will be creating a new artwork and videoing the progress; then on the Tuesday I will upload the finished artwork to my YouTube channel.

For week 1 I chose to draw Brittany Balyn who is a Fashion Blogger and Beauty Guru. I really enjoy her videos as she seems so down to earth and lovely.

Super Cute Custom Converse Frozen Shoes

Hi there everyone,

I have been super busy lately with updating my website and creating new video content that I actually forgot to write a post about my customised Frozen shoes! 

After my Alice in Wonderland custom shoe design was so well received I decided to create another pair but this time inspired by Disney's Frozen. Here is the video I created of me making the shoes...

News News News!

Hello there everyone!

I have some updates for you all. The first being...

I have updated my personal website;

My personal website is currently about 95% complete; I still have some improvements I would love to put into place. I will be making these improvements over the next few days; however, I am very proud to say that the new website is up and running and is hopefully a lot more easier to view and use. 

I worked solidly for 2 days (and into the nights, hehe) working on it and I am very happy with the results - I hope you like it too.

Another update is that I have created some brand new social media accounts. I created these as I would really love to be able to connect with other artists and people that enjoy my work. So, if you fancy it send me a tweet or follow me on instagram, don't be shy! :-)

New Art Cushions!

Hi everyone,

I haven't updated my blog in quite a while but I have lots to update you all on...
My first little update is that I have been learning how to sew! I decided I would love to create more of a variety of products featuring my artworks; so I thought I would start off this little idea by creating some cute cushions.

My mum very kindly offered to teach me how to use a sewing machine - it was quite a challenge, to say the least, but, I do hope I will be able to improve over time. So, with my mums help we made a few cushions with my painting designs on...

My favourite cushion design we both created is the Elsa cushion; I think it looks really cute and it's uplifting too. I love Elsa's character in the movie Frozen.

...For another cushion design I created a watercolour painting of one of my favourite perfume bottles, Vera Wang - Princess (it was gifted to me by my boyfriend last christmas, I love the bottle so much & the perfume smells of sweets ...mmmm). It was great fun to create. I really enjoyed getting all the detail into the bottle & using vivid colours.

Here is a photograph of the fabric - I got my designs printed on a linen mix cotton fabric by a company in America, especially to make these cushions. It was really exciting to see them when they came in the post.

Here is the Vera Wang Princess Perfume Cushion. I love the colours in this design.

Overall, I think my little cushion making experiment was a hit, it was good fun and it's rewarding to see my artworks on other items. I also designed a Miss Dior Cushion, so I will have to edit this post and put a picture in for you all soon. :-) Hopefully I will think of some more designs soon to add to my little collection of cushions.

Funky D.I.Y Converse Shoes Tutorial!

Hi there! I have something a little bit different for you all today! I created a Tutorial video on how to:-

• Paint converse shoes
• Add Swarovski Crystals the toe guards
• & How to add Ribbon Shoe laces

I was asked by a few people on YouTube to create 'Tutorial videos' so this is my very first one. I had a lot of fun creating this video. Let me know if you try it out yourself. :-) I hope you enjoy the video!
